  • Music - twice a week - songs for Mass and the Christmas Program

    many fun games that help them learn
  • Science - twice a week - hands on experiments, the world, five senses and planets
  • Spanish - twice a week - numbers, colors, animals, greetings, feelings

Kindergarten Also Includes

  • Social Studies Thematic units- seasons, holidays, animals, food unit, etc.
  • Learning stations - table activities, dots on all shelf items so they are able to
    distinguish between math and reading
  • Playtime - social growth and development, time to work on problem solving and
    getting along with their peers

Skills to Work on at Home:

  • Please practice printing name correctly
  • Learn name, address, and phone number for safety reasons
  • Learn nursery rhymes, colors, counting
  • Practice the alphabet
  • Work on taking care of self needs - bathroom, zipping, etc. - to be self-sufficient
  • Work with students to tie or Velcro their shoes
